Büecke is a district of the municipality of Möhnesee in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Until 1969 Büecke formed an independent community.

The small village of Büecke is located on the northern edge of the municipality of Möhnesee on the Haar south of the Kleiberg pasture landscape .

Name and first mention

The first documentary mention of Büecke comes from the year 1210 or 1229 as a Budeken . The place name means something like: small settlement .

history

The place, which has been occupied since the Middle Ages, has been a rural community in the office of Körbecke in the Soest district since the 19th century . On July 1, 1969, Büecke became part of the new municipality of Möhnesee through the Soest / Beckum law .
