The small village of Theiningsen is located on the northern edge of the municipality of Möhnesee on the Haar . The Haarweg or federal highway 516 runs directly south of the village .

history

Theiningsen has been a rural community in the office of Körbecke in the Soest district since the 19th century . On July 1, 1969, Theiningsen became part of the new municipality of Möhnesee through the Soest / Beckum law .
