Stockum is a district of the municipality of Möhnesee in the Soest district , North Rhine-Westphalia .

Stockum is located about 2 km northeast of Körbecke , the central town of the municipality. The place is on the north bank of the Möhnesees halfway up the hair strand .

The Neuhaus forest colony belongs to Stockum and is located about 5 km south of Stockum in the Arnsberg Forest and has about 55 inhabitants.

From the Seeuferstraße, the Stockumer Damm leads to the south bank of the Möhneseesee, it separates the Körbeck basin from the Wameler basin .

On July 1, 1969, Stockum was incorporated into the municipality of Möhnesee.

The listed hunting lodge Sankt Meinolf is worth seeing .
