In Office Loecknitz ( Uecker-Randow in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ) were from 1992 to 1 July 2004 in an area of 269.52 square kilometers, the 13 municipalities Bergholz , Bismark , Blankensee , Boock , glassworks , Grambow , Löcknitz (Headquarters) Mewegen , Pampow , Plöwen , Ramin , Rossow and Rothenklempenow joined forces to carry out their administrative business.

The formerly independent community of Glashütte was incorporated into the community of Rothenklempenow on December 31, 1999. The formerly independent municipality of Pampow with Freienstein was incorporated as a district after Blankensee on June 13, 2004. On July 1, 2004, the formerly independent municipality of Bismark joined the municipality of Ramin as a district. At the same time, on July 1, 2004, the Löcknitz office merged with the Penkun office to form the new Löcknitz-Penkun office with the official seat in Löcknitz.
