Office of Medelby

The office Medelby was an office in the district of Südtondern in Schleswig-Holstein . It consisted of the six municipalities listed below:

1. Böxlund
2. Get
3. Jardelund
4. Medelby
5. Osterby
6. Weesby

history

In 1889 the administrative district Medelby was formed from the above-mentioned municipalities in the Tondern district . In 1948 the district was dissolved and the municipalities formed the Medelby office from then on.

In 1966 the office was dissolved and the municipalities together with seventeen other municipalities from the offices of Enge , Klixbüll and Leck formed the office of Süderkarrharde, which was renamed Amt Karrharde in 1967 .

With the formation of the district of North Friesland , the six municipalities came to the district of Flensburg-Land in the Schafflund district in 1970 .
