history

The office was founded in 1970 with originally nine parishes. From 1976 to 1978 the number of municipalities was reduced to six through the amalgamation of some municipalities. On 1 January 2008, with the municipalities Hüsby , Lürschau and Schuby from the former Office Schuby the Arensharde formed.
