The Hengersberg District Court was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1970 and was based in Hengersberg .

history

Although the Hengersberg market was under the jurisdiction of the Niederalteich monastery until 1803, a Bavarian nursing court was established in Hengersberg as early as 1255 . These courts, also known as regional courts, were dissolved in 1803. In 1838 the judicial districts were reorganized with the establishment of the Hengersberg Regional Court.

On the occasion of the nationwide introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was formed in Hengersberg, the district of which was congruent with the previous district court district of Hengersberg . The higher-level instances were the Deggendorf Regional Court and the Munich Higher Regional Court . On January 1, 1970, the Hengersberg District Court was repealed and its district was assigned to the Deggendorf District Court .
