The District Court of Deggendorf is the competent district court for the district of Deggendorf and a court of ordinary jurisdiction as well as one of 73 district courts in Bavaria . The head office is at Amanstrasse 17.

history

The district court of Deggendorf was the predecessor of the district court until 1879 .

The main building in Amanstrasse was built between 1899 and 1901 and the company moved into on August 30, 1901. The dissolution of the Hengersberg District Court and integration into the Deggendorf District Court as well as the reform of the territorial law in 1970 led to a lack of space, so that the building was expanded in 1986. The building was badly damaged by arson, after which it was moved to an empty hospital. The damage amounted to around 1.5 million DM . In November 1988 the extension building and in February 1989 the renovated old building was occupied.

The total cost of the construction amounted to 9.6 million DM.

Jurisdiction

The District Court of Deggendorf is responsible for the district of Deggendorf . It is also responsible for the Regen district in the following matters:

  • Detention and detention matters
  • Trade, association, cooperative and partnership registers
  • Foreclosure auction and administration
  • Bankruptcy proceedings
