District Court Deggendorf (older order)

The regional court Deggendorf (older order) was a Bavarian regional court of older order that existed from 1803 to 1879 and was based in Deggendorf . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

The Regional Court of Deggendorf was established as an administrative unit in 1803 . From 1808 it belonged to the Lower Danube District and from 1838 to Lower Bavaria .

On April 21, 1838, the Bavarian King ordered the formation of seven new regional courts, including the Bogen regional court . This was formed from communities of the district courts Mitterfels and Deggendorf. For this purpose, the municipalities of Bärnried , Buchberg , Mariaposching , Niederwinkling , Offenberg , Penzenried and Waltendorf were spun off from the Deggendorf regional court . The new regional court became officially effective on October 1, 1839.

In 1862, the Deggendorf regional court was replaced as the administrative level by the Deggendorf district office , which was newly formed through the merger of the older regional courts in Deggendorf and Hengersberg . As a judicial authority, the District Court Deggendorf remained and was 1879 in the District Court Deggendorf , a court after the Judicature Act , converted.
