Regen District Court

The District Court of Regen was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1973 and was based in the city of Regen .

history

With the entry into force of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court of Regen was formed, the district of which was identical to the previous regional court district of Regen and therefore comprised the communities of Abtschlag , Bärndorf , Bärnzell , Bayerisch Eisenstein , Bischofsmais , Bodenmais , Brandten , Eggenried , Ellerbach , Frauenau , Habischried , Hochdorf , Kasberg , Kirchberg im Wald , Kirchdorf im Wald , Klautzenbach , Langdorf , Lindberg , March , Oberneumais , Rabenstein , Raindorf , Regen, Rinchnach , Rinchnachmündt , Schlag , Zell and Zwiesel . The higher authority was the Deggendorf Regional Court .

When the law on the organization of ordinary courts in the Free State of Bavaria (GerOrgG) came into force on July 1, 1973, the Regen District Court was repealed and incorporated into the district of the Viechtach District Court .

Courthouse

The district court was located in a three-storey, post-classicist hipped roof building with plastered structure, which was built in 1875/76, at Amtsgerichtstrasse 4. The local police station is currently housed in the listed building.
