Regen District Court

The Regional Court of Regen was a Bavarian regional court (older order) that existed from 1803 to 1879 and was based in the city of Regen .

The area of ​​today's Regen district with the towns of Regen and Viechtach belonged to Bavaria before 1800. In 1803 the Regen and Viechtach regional courts were established. The district court Viechtach initially belonged to the rain district , from 1810 to the Lower Danube district , to which the district court Regen belonged before. In 1838 the Lower Danube District was renamed Lower Bavaria. With the separation of administration and jurisdiction in the Kingdom of Bavaria in 1862, a district office was formed from each of the two regional courts .

With the entry into force of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the District Court of Regen was formed in addition to the District Court of Viechtach, the district of which was identical to the previous District Court district of Regen and consequently comprised the communities of Abtschlag , Bärndorf , Bärnzell , Bayerisch Eisenstein , Bischofsmais , Bodenmais , Brandten , Eggenried , Ellerbach , Frauenau , Habischried , Hochdorf , Kasberg , Kirchberg im Wald , Kirchdorf im Wald , Klautzenbach , Langdorf , Lindberg , March , Oberneumais , Rabenstein , Raindorf , Regen, Rinchnach , Rinchnachmündt , Schlag , Zell and Zwiesel .
