Amy Huberman

Amy Huberman (born March 1979 in Dublin ) is an Irish actress and writer .

Life

Huberman grew up in Cabinteely . She has a younger and an older brother. Her brother Mark Huberman is also an actor.

After attending Loreto College in Foxrock, she studied at University College Dublin (UCD), where she met Chris O'Dowd at UCD DramSoc .

In 2001 she got her first role in the RTÉ television series On Home Ground . From 2003 she took on the role of receptionist Daisy O'Callaghan in the television series The Clinic , which she played in more than 60 episodes by 2009. Numerous other roles in television productions and films followed.

In addition to acting, Huberman also began writing. Her first novel Hello Heartbreak was published in 2009 and quickly became a bestseller. The second novel I Wished For You followed in 2013.

Huberman has been in a relationship with Irish national rugby player Brian O'Driscoll since 2007 . The couple married in 2010. In February 2013, their first child, a daughter, was born.
