Anaïs Jeanneret (* 11. May 1963 as Valérie Jeanneret in Paris ) is a French actress and writer .

Mannequin and actress

Anaïs Jeanneret was discovered at the age of 15 and booked as a mannequin . In the same year (1978) she made her film debut. She became known in March 1983 for her photo series in the "Girl of the Month" section in the men's magazine Lui . Anaïs Jeanneret's acting career then received a considerable boost. Her role of Viviane receiving guitar lessons in Michel Deville's production Danger in Default , a mixture of triangular film, passionate love story and crime drama , caused a sensation .

Young nymphs, libertine girls and gentle beauties remained their role for the time being, for example in Yves Roberts' television film L'été 36 in 1986 . In later years Anaïs Jeanneret carefully avoided any nude appearances and since the 1990s has mostly worked in television productions, some of which were also shown in Germany. In the melodramatic three-part play Nur aus Liebe , she played someone forsaken by her lover ( Kim Rossi Stuart ), and another leading role in Nicolas Gessner's four-part Estelle, which was filmed the following year .

In 1997 Anaïs Jeanneret made a radical break, completely quit acting and now turned exclusively to writing. In 1993 she received the Prix du Quartier Latin for Les Poupées russes . Her third book, Les yeux cernés , received special attention in 1999 , with which she also appeared in cultural programs . In 2014 she received the Prix ​​François-Mauriac for the novel La Solitude des soirs d'été . Translations into German are not yet available.

In the 2000s she worked several times as a photographer for the French film magazine Studio Magazine and made portraits of Gérard Darmon , Serge Gainsbourg , Paul Boujenah and others.

Private

In the 1980s she had a relationship with Gérard Darmon , later with the industrialist Jean Drucker, with whom she has a son. After his death, she married the entrepreneur Vincent Bolloré and worked for his station Direct 8 .
