Ana Ibis Fernández (born August 3, 1973 in Sancti Spíritus ) is a Cuban national volleyball player .

Fernández won the gold medal with the Cuban national team three times in a row at the Olympic Games in 1992, 1996 and 2000, as well as the bronze medal in 2004. There were also two gold medals at the 1994 and 1998 World Championships and numerous victories at the Volleyball World Grand Prix .

Fernández played in Italy from 1997 to 2000. In 1999 she won the Italian championship and the Champions League with Foppapedretti Bergamo . A year later she won the national cup and the CEV cup with Pallavolo Reggio Calabria . From 2003 the middle blocker played mainly in Spain and in 2010 she won the Spanish Cup with CAV Murcia in 2005 .

Fernández has received numerous individual awards in various national and international competitions ("Best Attacker" etc.).
