Anacleto Sima Ngua

Anacleto Sima Ngua (born June 2, 1936 in Mitemleté ; † June 30, 2018 in Malabo ) was an Equatorial Guinean clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Bata .

Life

Anacleto Sima Ngua was ordained a priest on June 24, 1963 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Bata on November 19, 1982 . The Pope personally donated him episcopal ordination on January 6 of the next year ; Co-consecrators were the Curia Archbishops Eduardo Martínez Somalo , substitute for the State Secretariat , and Duraisamy Simon Lourdusamy , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples . From 1992 to 2000 he was President of the Episcopal Conference of Equatorial Guinea .

On May 11, 2002, Pope John Paul II accepted his early resignation.
