Anahí , full name Anahí Giovanna Puente Portilla , (born May 14, 1983 ) is a Mexican actress and singer .

Life

Anahí is a daughter of Enrique Puente and Marichelo Portilla. Her older sister Marichelo (* 1978) is also an actress.

Anahí was the advertising face for a soft drink for several years. Her song "Te Doy Un Besito" was used to end daily children's television on Channel 5 in Mexico. She also worked in films such as "Nacidos Para Morir" or "Había Una Vez Una Estrella". Then she appeared in the TV shows "Chiquillada", "Mujer Casos De La Vida Real", "Hora Marcada", "La Telaraña".

She starred in the second season of Clase 406 , where she won the " Arial Award " after she starred in the 1991 film Había Una Vez Una Estrella . In the same year she won the Gold Palm Award for her young acting career.

She made her breakthrough in 2004 in the telenovela Rebelde, a Mexican remake of the series Rebelde Way , as Mia Collucci and in the associated band RBD . The band released their last CD and DVD in 2009.
