Anani Jawaschew

Anani Wladimirow Jawaschew ( Bulgarian Анани Явашев ; born October 18, 1932 in Gabrovo , Bulgaria ) is a Bulgarian actor .

Life

Anani Jawaschew is the son of the industrialist Vladimir Jawaschew and the Macedonian Zweta Dimitrova. He grew up in Grabowo with his two younger brothers, including the later internationally known artist Christo . While his father ensured financial prosperity, his mother, who was General Secretary of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia until 1931, kept in touch with artists, including Mara Georgiewa , Waska Emanuilowa , Andrei Nikolow and Nikola Waltschew , who also taught the children. Shortly after World War II , his father's factory was expropriated and he was thrown in prison.

After graduating from the French grammar school in Plovdiv , Jawaschew studied acting at the National Academy for Theater and Film Arts "Krastjo Sarafow" . When he finished his studies, he started playing at the theater in his hometown in 1956, before moving to the youth theater "Nikolai Binew" in Sofia in 1958 . He gained fame during this time primarily for playing in the works of William Shakespeare , including Romeo and Juliet and Richard III. He made his film debut in 1959 with the love film Die Kleine , directed by Nikola Korabow , in which he played the main role of Boris.
