Nikola Korabov
Nikola Atanassow Korabow ( Bulgarian: Никола Атанасов Корабов ; born December 7, 1928 in Russe , Bulgaria - † November 10, 2016 ) was a Bulgarian film director , screenwriter and actor .
Life
Nikola Korabow graduated from the Gerasimov Institute for Cinematography in Moscow in 1956 . His graduation film was the drama Dimitrovgradtsy , with Ivan Dimov and Georgi Kalojantschew in the leading roles. His first internationally distributed film was the love film Die Kleine from 1959. With Tobacco he took part in the Cannes International Film Festival in 1963 and with Reise im Zorn at the 7th Moscow International Film Festival .
In addition to his film work, he also worked as a lecturer in acting and directing at the National Academy for Theater and Film Art "Krastjo Sarafow" .
