Anastasius Demler
Anastasius Demler (born November 7, 1520 in Marbach am Neckar , † July 22, 1591 in Tübingen ) was a German lawyer.
Life
Anastasius Demler studied in Tübingen, where he became a professor for both rights and an assessor at the court. He was an advocate for the Imperial Knighthood of Swabia, inspector of the Martinianum and rector of the University of Tübingen. His portrait hangs in the professors' gallery in Tübingen . He was Erhard Cellius' father-in-law .
