Cultivation association

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Farming association (including producers' association ) is an association of biologically economizing farmers , processors and other agricultural producers for the purpose of promoting joint marketing and control of the Association of goods. The first cultivation association was the Demeter Association founded in 1924 .

In the EU , different national cultivation associations control and promote their members, for which reason they are allowed to label their products with the cultivation association seal. Membership is therefore a certification. In their requirements, the associations sometimes go well beyond EC law (see EC organic regulation ) .
