The Bund Ökologische Lebensmittelwirtschaft e. V. ( BÖLW ) is a German umbrella association of agricultural producers, processors and traders of organic food based in Berlin. The members of the BÖLW are cultivation associations and associations of traders and processors. The association was founded in 2002.
The aim of the BÖLW is to represent the interests of the organic food industry in politics and society. The BÖLW would like to ensure that conducive framework conditions are created for the further development of the organic food industry. It sees itself as a network and open communication platform for its members.
The BÖLW is active in the monitoring committee of the federal program for organic farming and other forms of sustainable agriculture . Internationally, the association is a member of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) and coordinates the group of German-speaking IFOAM members there. The BÖLW is the national, non-material sponsor of BIOFACH, the world's leading trade fair for organic products and the patron of the nationwide organic field days.

In addition, 24 organizations and companies are sponsoring members, including FiBL , GLS Bank , the BIOFACH trade fair , the organic food retailer Alnatura , the Ecology and Agriculture Foundation and Wala Heilmittel .
