Christensen Arrebo is different
Anders Christensen Arrebo (born June 2, 1587 in Ærøskøbing , † March 12, 1637 in Vordingborg ) was a Danish clergyman and writer . He is considered the father of Danish literature, who was the first to elevate the Danish language to art.
Life
After a brief pastor at the Nicolaikirche in Copenhagen , Arrebo became bishop of Nidaros ( Trondheim ) in Norway in 1618 , but was deposed in 1622 for indecent conduct. In Malmö he worked on a revision of the Psalms . After rehabilitation in 1625 he became a pastor in Vordingborg.
