André Fernand Anguilé (born May 15, 1922 in Libreville , † December 10, 2001 ) was the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Libreville .

Life

André Fernand Anguilé was ordained a priest on July 2, 1950 .

Paul VI appointed him on May 29, 1969 Archbishop of Libreville. The Pope personally consecrated him bishop on August 1st of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Sergio Pignedoli , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , and Emmanuel Kiwanuka Nsubuga , Archbishop of Kampala .

On April 3, 1998, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
