André Jobin (comic author)
André Jobin (born October 25, 1927 in Delémont , Canton Jura , Switzerland), alias Job , is a Swiss-French comic book scriptwriter.
Life
Jobin graduated from a journalism school and did not create his first scenario until 1966.
He is best known for the Yakari scenarios - stories about a little Indian boy who is able to talk to animals. In addition, he provided the texts for Derib's comic The Adventures of Pythagoras ( Les Aventures de Pythagore et cie ).
This short-lived Funny series about an eagle owl who is a scientific genius but a miserable aviator and who regularly drinks schnapps after an adventure, originally appeared in the French-Swiss school magazine Le Crapaud à Lunettes in the mid-1960s , and in the late 1960s in Spirou magazine . In Germany, 3 volumes of Pythagoras were only published by Carlsen Verlag at the beginning of the 1980s .
In 2016, Job handed Yakari over to Joris Chamblain, proposed by Le Lombard . Already in Volume 39 The day of silence worked with Chamblain job on the scenario.
