André Francisco Moritz (born August 6, 1986 in Florianópolis , Brazil ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Career

Moritz plays with the shirt number 10 in the attacking midfield, usually in the playmaker position.

The 1.87 m tall player began his professional career at the traditional Brazilian club SC Internacional before moving to Turkish newly promoted Kasımpaşa Istanbul after a season at Fluminense Rio de Janeiro in the 2007/08 season. After three years at Kasımpaşa, he played one year for Kayserispor .

In the 2011/12 season he played for Mersin İdman Yurdu in the Turkish Süper Lig. At the end of this season it was announced that the expiring contract would not be extended.

After working in England ( Crystal Palace FC and Bolton Wanderers ), South Korea ( Pohang Steelers ), India ( Mumbai City FC ) and Thailand ( Buriram United ), Moritz switched to Denizlispor in Turkey for the 2016/17 season .

During the winter break 2017/18 he moved back to his youth club Avaí FC .
