André Joseph Parmentier (born May 29, 1876 in Sauveterre-de-Guyenne , † 1939 ) was a French sports shooter .

André Parmentier took part in the Olympic Games in London in 1908 and in Antwerp in 1920 . In 1908, together with Eugène Balme , Albert Courquin , Léon Johnson , Maurice Lecoq and Raoul de Boigne, he won the bronze medal behind Norway and Sweden with the free rifle in the three-position battle. He finished the team competition with the army rifle over six distances in fourth place. At the Olympic Games in 1920 he competed in eight disciplines and won the silver medal in the prone position with the army rifle in the team competition at the side of Achille Paroche , Léon Johnson, Georges Roes and Émile Rumeau . In four other disciplines he was among the top five in the ranking.

Parmentier won nine medals at world championships . With the free rifle he was runner- up in the individual competitions in 1908 in Vienna in the lying position and in 1909 in Hamburg in the standing position. In team competitions he was particularly successful with the free rifle in three-position combat. Between 1908 and 1921 he won five silver and two bronze medals with the team.
