André Willmund

André Willmund (born March 25, 1982 in Cologne ) is a German actor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Willmund completed an acting training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna . There he graduated in 2006 with an acting diploma as a stage actor. In 2006 he also attended the talent class acting workshop at the University of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg .

During his apprenticeship, he was already involved in a number of performances at the Max Reinhardt Seminar, including a theater production by Clockwork Orange and the drama Messer in Hennen by David Harrower .

From the 2007/2008 season, André Willmund was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Augsburg Theater . His inaugural role there was Casimir in Casimir and Karoline . Furthermore, he appeared in Augsburg as Algernon in Bunbury or Ernst sein is important , as Oedipus in King Oedipus , as Hettore Gonzaga, Prince of Guastalla in Emilia Galotti and as Gregers Werle in Die Wildente . In the 2009/2010 season he took on the title role in Heinrich von Kleist's tragedy The Prince of Homburg with great success . In the 2010/2011 season he moved to the State Theater in Mainz and has been a permanent member of the ensemble there ever since.

Willmund made his first experiences in front of the camera in 2005 with a few short films and diploma films from the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne and the University of Television and Film in Munich . He also played episode roles in the TV series SOKO Rhein-Main and Wolffs Revier . Willmund also had a recurring episode role in 2009 as Thomas in the RTL comedy series Mein Leben & Ich .

Willmund achieved particular fame among the television audience through his participation in the ZDF early evening series Notruf Hafenkante . There he played the young paramedic Malte Ohlsen in 28 episodes in 2007.
