Andreé González , full name Andreé Aníbal González Frustacci (born June 30, 1975 , San Cristóbal , Venezuela) is a former Venezuelan football player .

Career

society

González is the son of former Uruguayan professional footballer Gervasio Washington González . His father was under contract with Nacional , Rentistas and Liverpool Montevideo .

Andreé "Varilla" González began his career at Club Atlético Peñarol . There he played from 1993 to 1996. He made his debut there at the age of 18 and was involved in winning the Uruguayan championship in 1995 and 1996 with a small amount of time. After a stopover in 1997 at Liverpool Montevideo, he returned to Peñarol in 1998. In 1997 he scored seven goals in 23 appearances, and in 1998 two goals in twelve games. In 1999 he played both at Caracas FC and again at Liverpool Montevideo (11 games / 2 goals).

In the 1999/2000 season he was in Spain at Recreativo de Huelva in ten Segunda División games. He made his league debut there on January 5, 2000 in the 2-0 away defeat by Leganés , his last appearance was on June 4, 2000 against Osasuna . For the year 2000 a station near Peñarol is reported. Eleven appearances (no goal) in the highest Uruguayan league are made for it. In the years 2001 to 2003 he is said to have completed 90 league games and scored eight goals as a player in the Centro Atlético Fénix . In the 2004 season he ran eleven times in ranks of Defensor Sporting in the Primera División and met once in the opposing goal. From the 2004/05 season to the 2007/08 season he played at Unión Atlético Maracaibo in Venezuela. In 2007 he is said to have played for Estudiantes de Mérida . In the 2007/08 season, he was initially involved with Fénix and then with the Montevideo club, River Plate Montevideo , where he came to four seasons each. For River Plate Montevideo he scored one goal. In 2008 he was then under contract in his home country at Monagas Sport Club and played 14 league games (no goal). Two more stations followed in Uruguay. First he was active at Durazno FC . In the 2009/10 season he completed 14 first division games (no goal) for Club Sportivo Cerrito . In 2010, five appearances (no goal) for the Venezuelan club Zulia FC in the Primera División followed from August .

National team

"Varilla" González is also a member of the Venezuelan national football team , for which he has played 17 international matches between 1999 and 2008. For the first time he was appointed by the then national coach José Omar "Pato" Pastoriza . Later, Richard Páez in particular relied on him. He took part in the Copa America 2007 in Venezuela, but remained without tournament use.
