Andrea Cistana (born April 1, 1997 in Brescia ) is an Italian football player . The defender is currently under contract with Brescia Calcio .

Career

In the club teams

Cistana comes from the youth department of Brescia Calcio , in which he was active until 2016. In the seasons 2014/15 and 2015/16 he was a few times in the squad of the professional team, but without being used. During the 2016/17 season , Cistana was loaned to fourth division club Ciliverghe Mazzano , for whom he played in 29 games and scored one goal. After he did not play for Brescia in the first half of the 2017/18 season , he moved to third division AC Prato for the second half of the season , where he played ten games. After his return, Cistana was able to establish himself as a regular player in Brescia in the 2018/19 season . He completed 30 games during the season that Brescia completed as Serie B champions and celebrated promotion to Serie A.

In the national team

Cistana was never used for a junior national team. On November 8, 2019, he was appointed to the squad of the Italian national team for the European Championship qualifiers against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Armenia by national coach Roberto Mancini .
