Andrea Hontschik
Andrea Hontschik (born October 17, 1959 in Berlin ; † February 19, 1993 there ) was a German beauty queen and model .
Life
On May 26, 1979, she was chosen as the first Miss Germany live on German television in the studio of Radio Bremen , namely in the quiz show On the run with Rudi Carrell .
On July 19, 1979 she reached the semi-finals at Miss Universe in Perth (Australia), also reached the semi-finals on November 15, 1979 at Miss World in London and on March 2, 1980 at Miss Europe in Puerto de la Cruz ( Canary Islands, Spain) into the final (top 7).
Her younger sister Petra was third in Miss Berlin the following year and also took part in Miss Germany.
Andrea Hontschik died in Berlin in 1993.
