Andrea Zafferani

Andrea Zafferani (born December 19, 1982 in San Marino ) is a politician from San Marino . From October 1, 2010 to March 1, 2011 he was one of the two Capitani Reggenti (Head of State) of San Marino and has been Minister for Industry and Labor since December 2016.

biography

Andrea Zafferani holds a PhD in Economics and Management and has been with the Central Bank of San Marino since 2009. He is married and lives in Fiorentino .

He had been a member of the Alleanza Popolare (AP) since 2000 , and in 2006 he became the coordinator of the AP youth association. From November 2003 to February 2005 Zafferani was a member of the Serravalle Municipal Council . He ran on the list of the AP in the elections of June 4, 2006, but failed to make it into parliament. On November 28, 2007 he replaced the AP ministers who were leaving parliament in the Consiglio Grande e Generale . There he was a member of the budget committee. In the November 2008 elections, he was eighth on the AP's list, which won seven seats in parliament, but moved up for the two AP ministers who were leaving parliament. Zafferani became a member of the Standing Committee on Health and Social Affairs. In July 2012, he announced that he would be leaving the AP and joining the newly formed Civico 10 . In the early elections of November 2012, Zafferani was elected to the Consiglio Grande e Generale on the Civico 10 list. He was group leader and a member of the Budget and Justice Committee. In the elections at the end of 2016, Zafferani was re-elected to the Consiglio Grande e Generale for Civico 10, which won 6 parliamentary seats.

Civico 10, together with Repubblicca Futura and Sinistra Socialista Democratica , form the coalition adesso.sm , which provides the government. Zafferani was elected Minister for Industry, Crafts and Trade, Labor, Cooperation and Telecommunications (Segretario di Stato per l'Industria, Artigianato e Commercio, Lavoro, Cooperazione, Telecomunicazioni) on December 27, 2016 .

In the term of office from October 1, 2010 to April 1, 2011, he was together with Giovanni Francesco Ugolini Capitano Reggente (head of state) of San Marino.
