Marco Conti

Marco Conti (born April 14, 1969 in Rimini , Italy ) is a politician from San Marino .

biography

After training as a technical expert, Conti studied mechanical engineering at the University of Bologna . From 1995 to 2009 he was Director of the Vehicle Registration Office ( Ufficio Registro Automezzi ) and from 2002 to 2005 State Coordinator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Civil Protection. In March 2009 he became Director General of the Civil Aviation and Maritime Authority .

Conti, who has been a member of the Partito Democratico Cristiano Sammarinese (PDCS) since 1992, began his political career in June 2006 when he was elected to the Grand and General Council (Consiglio Grande e Generale) and is a member of the Committee on Home Affairs.

On April 1, 2010, Conti became Capitano Reggente of San Marino alongside Glauco Sansovini .

Conti is also the president of the football club and three-time football champions ( Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio ) SC Faetano .
