Maria Luisa Berti (born October 6, 1971 in San Marino ) is a politician from San Marino . From April 1 to October 1, 2011 she was Capitano Reggente (Head of State) of San Marino together with Filippo Tamagnini .

Life

Maria Luisa Berti has a degree in law and is a lawyer and notary. She joined the Christian Democratic PDCS in 1989 , was a member of the youth association and ran the newspaper Azione . She was elected to the Consiglio Grande e Generale , the Parliament of San Marino, for the 2001 to 2006 parliamentary term. There she was a member of the Commission for the Reform of the Criminal Code. In March 2006 she was a founding member of the Noi Sammarinesi political movement . In November 2008 she was re-elected to the Consiglio Grande e Generale, this time on the Lista della Libertà. In Parliament she was a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee. Maria Luisa Berti is a member of the Executive Committee of Noi Sammarinesi. She was elected for the period from April 1, 2011 to October 1, 2011 together with Filippo Tamagnini as Capitano Reggente the head of state of San Marino.
