Andreas Augustin
Andreas Augustin (born September 30, 1979 in Saarbrücken ) is a German politician of the Pirate Party and was a member of the Saarland state parliament from 2012 to 2017.
Career
Augustin is a computer scientist and before his election to the state parliament he worked as a system administrator for Absint Angewandte Informatik GmbH in Saarbrücken. He has been working as a politician since 2012.
Political work
Andreas Augustin joined the Pirate Party on June 26, 2009, was elected treasurer of the Saarland regional association on October 30, 2009 and was confirmed in this position in 2010 and 2011. In the state elections in Saarland 25 March 2012 Augustin has been ranked one of the district election proposal Saarbrücken in the state parliament of Saarland voted. There he was chairman of the committee on data protection and freedom of information . He was also represented on the Submissions , Budget and Financial Affairs Committee . In the state elections in Saarland in 2017 , he no longer stood as a candidate and accordingly left the state parliament.
Private life
Andreas Augustin lives in Altenkessel near Saarbrücken.
