Andreas Fischer (soccer player, 1964)

Andreas Fischer (born October 20, 1964 in Paderborn ) is a former German football player and coach .

Career

In his youth, Fischer played for SV Marienloh, 1. FC Paderborn , Preußen Münster and TuS Paderborn-Neuhaus . His first professional station was BVL 08 Remscheid , for which he was active in the second division in 1987/88 . Then Andreas Fischer moved to Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen for five seasons . From 1994 to 2001 he ran for Hamburger SV . At the end of his career, the defender moved to Rot-Weiss Essen in the regional league for a year . In total, Fischer played 303 Bundesliga, 30 second division and 20 regional league games. Then he ended his career.

In the 2003/04 season he was coach of SC Verl .

Private

Fischer completed school with a secondary school leaving certificate and then trained as a carpenter . He is married and has four kids. Fischer lives in Schleswig-Holstein and is the manager of a company for ventilation and cooling systems.
