Andreas Gaebler (born April 17, 1984 in Pößneck ) is a German soccer player . He plays in central defense.

Career

Gaebler went through the youth department of 1. FC Kaiserslautern and was part of the second division squad in 2006/07, but was not used. So he came to SV Wilhelmshaven in 2007 and helped with promotion to the Regionalliga Nord. After a year-long stint at 1. FC Magdeburg , Gaebler returned to Wilhelmshaven, where he played until 2011.

After Gaebler moved to the third division club SV Darmstadt 98 , he was on the field for the first time in the single-track third division. With good performances, Gaebler became a regular at the Lilien team in the 2011/12 season and scored four goals in 36 games.

For the 2013/14 season Gaebler moved to the regional division FC 08 Homburg . In the 2017/18 season, Gaebler played for SV Morlautern . In the summer of 2018 he took over the position of player-coach at the national league club SV Rodenbach .
