Andreas Hahn (politician)

Andreas Hahn (* 4. January 1951 in Neustadt in Sachsen ) is a German CDU - politician and former member of the Saxon Parliament .

Life

After graduating from school (10th grade), Andreas Hahn completed an apprenticeship as an agricultural machinist in 1968 and was then employed in the Agricultural Machinery Progress Combine in Neustadt and Singwitz . From 1976 to 1980 he studied at the evening school in Sebnitz . Between 1982 and 1990 Hahn worked in various areas at the combine harvester plant in Bischofswerda , including as a general manager and until March 1990 as head of the materials management department.

Andreas Hahn was on the city council of Neustadt until 1982. From 1977 he was deputy chairman of the Mittelstandsvereinigung e. V. Bischofswerda and volunteer in the local group executive as main cashier. From 1991 he was chairman of the supervisory board of the Bischofswerda housing association.

Hahn is married and has one daughter.

politics

Andreas Hahn has been a member of the CDU since 1969 . In 1990 he was elected to the People's Chamber . In October 1990 Hahn was elected for the CDU Saxony in constituency 38 (Bischofswerda) in the Saxon state parliament, to which he belonged for two further terms. In the 2nd and 3rd electoral terms Hahn represented constituency 51 (Bautzen I).

In the first electoral term he was a member of the rules of procedure committee, the special committee to investigate abuse of office and power as a result of the SED rule and in all three electoral terms in the budget and finance committee. In the 3rd electoral term Hahn was chairman of the 1st committee of inquiry of the Saxon state parliament. From 1990 he was treasurer of the CDU in the city association Bischofswerda .
