Andreas Halfmann (born June 17, 1971 in Neuwied ) is a former German ice hockey player who played on the position of defender . Halfmann played most of the time in his home town of Neuwied.

Career

Born in Neuwied, he went on ice for EHC Neuwied since the 1989/90 season, initially in the Middle Regional League , in 1993/94 in the Oberliga and from 1994/95 in the first division . In the season 1996/97 Half Man won with the Bears the DEB League Cup and the championship of the first league - he could last title in the following season repeat. After a season at ESV Bergisch Gladbach (1999/2000) Halfmann returned to Neuwied to play for the newly founded SC Mittelrhein-Neuwied in the regional and major leagues. After two years he moved to EC Siegerland in the Association League NRW. From 2007 to 2017 he was back on the ice for the “new” EHC Neuwied, with whom he played again in the regional league after two consecutive promotions from the 2009/10 season . After the end of his active career in 2017, he became an assistant trainer in Neuwied.
