Andreas Hoffmann (politician)

Andreas Hoffmann (born October 5, 1960 in Heidelberg ) is a German CDU politician .

Life

Hoffmann is a trained social security clerk and business economist. From 1977 to 2012 he worked in various positions at Barmer Ersatzkasse . Hoffmann has been a board member of the Caritas Association Konstanz eV since September 2012

Until 2014, Andreas Hoffmann was state chairman of the Kolping Society of Baden-Württemberg , a state association with 338 Kolping families and around 30,000 members in the dioceses of Freiburg and Rottenburg.

Andreas Hoffmann is Roman Catholic, married and has two children. The family lives in Allensbach .

Political functions

From 2001 to 2011 Hoffmann was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg for the constituency of Constance . He was unable to defend the direct mandates he won in 2001 and 2006 in the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2011 and lost them to Siegfried Lehmann (GREEN), which is why he left the state parliament after the election.

Since 2004 he has been a member of the district council for Allensbach and social and health policy spokesman for the CDU district parliamentary group.
