Andreas Reichlin's sculptures find their origin in his work in the round shape of the pipe; diagonal cuts create a dynamic that connects the round with the straight; Outside and inside come together. In his training his material was wood. Today his sculptures are mainly made of steel. In 2009 designer Reichlin developed the fire ring : sculpture and grill in one. Trademark protection and the granting of patents led to the establishment of the Feuerring GmbH together with his partner Beate Hoyer. In 2016, Feuerring received the international design award "Red Dot Award : best of the best" for pioneering design. The award-winning fire ring Tulip is in the Red Dot Design Museum, Zeche Zollverein , Essen / D. In 2016 the recipe book FEUER & RING also received the Red Dot Award: best of the best in the field of communication design. In 2017, the German Design Award followed as “Winner” for the Feuerring Tulip and the Feuerring GmbH itself was awarded the German Brand Award for the best corporate brand and successful brand management in the same year .
