Andreas Rulle

Andreas Rulle (born September 21, 1959 in Münster , † September 7, 2008 in Worms ) was a German cartoonist .

life and work

Rulle studied art, French and philosophy to become a teacher. In 1992 his caricatures first appeared in the Oberhessische Presse . In 2005 he was awarded the sponsorship prize of the city of Stuttgart as part of the German Prize for Political Caricature .

His daily cartoon Rulles pointed pen appeared in 35 German daily newspapers and had a reach of 3.5 million readers. Rulle was married and had five children.
