Andreas Schriever

Andreas Schriever (* 1951 in Osnabrück ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Social Court .

Life

After studying law in Münster , Andreas Schriever passed the two state law exams in 1976 and 1979 .

Since March 1979 he worked in the ordinary jurisdiction of Lower Saxony, first as a judge at the Osnabrück District Court and at the Meppen District Court , later as a public prosecutor again in Osnabrück. After a two-year secondment to the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice , he switched to social justice in 1988 and was appointed judge at the regional social court . On January 1, 1993, Schriever became Vice President of the State Social Court of Saxony-Anhalt .

The appointment as judge at the Federal Social Court took place in July 1995. There Schriever belonged to the 3rd Senate, which is responsible for disputes from the health , artist's social and nursing care insurance . Most recently he was deputy chairman of the Senate.

Schriever retired at the end of February 2017.
