Andreas Wolf (architect)

Ingo Andreas Wolf (* 1956 ) is a German architect , urban planner and university professor .

Life

Ingo Andreas Wolf studied urban and regional planning in Cologne and Aachen and architecture at the Berlin University of the Arts . In 1987 he worked at the International Building Exhibition (IBA) Berlin and worked as an academic adviser at the Technical University of Munich . Since 1992 he has been teaching as a professor for design and urban development at the University of Technology, Economics and Culture Leipzig (HTWK). He is visiting professor at the Milan Polytechnic and at the University of Genoa . He also stayed as a Loeb Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Design at Harvard University (GSD) and as a visiting professor at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). From 2000 to 2010 he worked for the International Building Exhibition Urban Redevelopment Saxony-Anhalt 2010 . Andreas Wolf is a member of the advisory board of the International Building Exhibition (IBA) Thuringia, a member of the design advisory board of the state capital Erfurt , a member of the convention of the Technical University of Wrocław and a board member of the Deutscher Werkbund Sachsen. In 2010 he was appointed a member of the Saxon Academy of the Arts , where he held the post of deputy secretary of the architecture class from 2011 to 2014. Andreas Wolf was Vice President of the Saxon Academy of the Arts from June 2014 to May 2015 . He lives in Leipzig .
