Nutrichin started in Kawgolowo in February 1996 for the first time in the cross-country skiing world cup and finished 59th place over 15 km classic. He got his first World Cup points at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim in 1997 with 18th place over 30 km freestyle. At the beginning of the 1997/98 season he reached his first top ten placement in the World Cup with ninth place over 30 km freestyle in Kawgolowo. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano , he achieved 15th place over 50 km freestyle. In March 1998 he was third with the relay at the World Cup in Lahti . At the Winter Universiade 1999 in Štrbské Pleso he won the bronze medal over 10 km classic and with the relay. In February 2001 he came at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2001 in Lahti on the 37th place in the sprint, 17th place over 30 km classic and fourth place over 50 km freestyle. In the 2002/03 season he reached 32nd place in the overall World Cup with three top ten placements in the World Cup. This was his best overall placement in the World Cup. With third place over 50 km classic in Oslo he achieved his only podium in the individual World Cup. At the season highlight, the Nordic World Ski Championships 2003 in Fiemme Valley , he finished 53rd over 50 km freestyle, 11th place over 15 km classic and fourth place with the relay. He ran his last World Cup race in January 2007 in Rybinsk , which he finished in 25th place in the 30 km mass start race.
