Career
He studied from 2005 to 2007 at the Bauhaus University Weimar and from 2007 to 2011 at the Art Academy in Münster with Cornelius Völker . In 2011 he was a master student of Völker.
Wilhelms is a painter of indefinite objectivity.
“This painting is representational because it relates to external reality. It shows things that have already become visible in our everyday world or - one must be careful to say - that would at least be imaginable there. Because the way the painter shows things, they simply cannot be found. That is why one can call this objectivity indefinite. There are no names for the things that the artist shows in the picture. "
Andrej Wilhelms lives and works in Hanover and Düsseldorf .
