Andrew Kennedy Hutchison Boyd
Andrew Kennedy Hutchison Boyd (born November 3, 1825 in Auchinleck in East Ayrshire , † March 1, 1899 in Bournemouth ) was a Scottish Presbyterian pastor and writer .
Life
Boyd studied theology in Glasgow , was ordained in 1851 and held various parishes, one in Edinburgh since 1864 and later that of St Andrews . As a writer, he first caused a sensation with two series of anonymously published essays under the title Recreations of a country parson (1859-78) in Fraser's Magazine . This was followed by a series of similar works.
