Andrine Tomter (born February 5, 1995 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian soccer player who has been playing for Vålerenga Oslo since 2018 and for the Norwegian women's national soccer team since 2014 .

Career

society

Tomter started playing football with the local boys team from Drøbak-Frogn IL . At the age of 13, she moved to Kolbotn IL , where she played until 2015, before moving to league competitor Avaldsnes IL for the 2016 season. With Avaldsnes she qualified for the 2016/17 UEFA Women's Champions League at a tournament in Finland for the knockout round, but failed in the round of 32 with two defeats (2: 5 and 0: 5) to defending champions Olympique Lyon . After two seasons in Avaldsnes, she moved to FC Twente Enschede in the women's Eredivisie in September 2017 . Almost a year later she returned to Norway in August 2018 and is now playing for Vålerenga Oslo .

National team

Tomter went through all junior selections of the Norwegian Football Association from the U-15 national team . With the U-19 national team, she took part twice in the European vintage championships, reaching the semi-finals in her own country in 2014 . On January 14, 2014, she made her debut for the senior national team in a friendly against the Spanish selection . She then took part in the Algarve Cup 2014 , in which the Norwegians could not win a game for the first time. After another game in June 2014, due to a knee injury, an international break until September 2015, during which she was not nominated for the 2015 World Cup . After another game in October 2015, it was not used again until April 6, 2016. In qualifying for the 2017 European Championship , it was used four times, but was not nominated for the European Championship. After the European Championship, she was still used on September 15, 2017 in qualifying for the 2019 World Cup, but not again after that.
