Andrij Mykolayowytsch Nesmatschnyj ( Ukrainian Андрій Миколайович Несмачний ; UEFA transcription Andriy Nesmachniy ; born February 28, 1979 in Bryansk ) is a former Ukrainian football player .

Career

Nesmachnyj is a graduate of the Tavriya Simferopol Football School . In 1997 he moved to the Ukrainian series champion and cup winner Dynamo Kiev , until 2001 he was used in both the first and second team, since then he has been a regular player of the first. The left full-back has played in the Ukrainian first division more than 200 times.

For the Ukrainian national team , he played a total of 67 missions. He made his debut against Bulgaria in April 2000 . In March 2009 he decided to end his national team career to focus more on his club. When his contract with Dynamo Kiev expired in 2011 , he ended his professional career in order to continue to be active as a Jehovah's Witness .

The Ukrainian national coach Oleh Blochin appointed him to the 23-man squad for the 2006 World Cup , where he played all five games.
