Andrzej Bętkowski
Andrzej Krzysztof Bętkowski (born December 28, 1951 in Skarżysko-Kamienna ) is a Polish politician , local politician and since 2007 member of the Sejm in the VI. Electoral term.
Life
He finished his studies at the Academy of Physical Education in Cracow . From 1975 to 1990 he was a sports teacher and athletics coach. In 1990 he started his own company. In 1998 and from 2006 to 2007 he was a member of the Sejmik in the Świętokrzyskie (Świętokrzyskie) Voivodeship . From 2002 to 2006 he was a district councilor in the Powiat Skarżyski . From 1999 to 2002 he was Starosta of this district.
In the parliamentary elections in 2007 he was with 3,112 votes on the list of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS) Member of the Sejm for the constituency of Kielce . He is a member of the Sejm commissions for infrastructure and defense.
