Andwélé Cedric Slory (born September 27, 1982 in Paramaribo ) is a former Dutch national football player with Surinamese roots.
Slory began his professional career in 2000 at Stormvogels Telstar in the Eerste Divisie . In 2005 he moved to Excelsior Rotterdam . With 14 goals, he was instrumental in the rise of the Rotterdam to the Eredivisie . In the 2006/07 season he scored 12 goals and attracted the attention of several scouts, u. a from Feyenoord Rotterdam , Ajax Amsterdam , AZ Alkmaar and PSV Eindhoven . For the 2007/08 season he moved to city rivals Feyenoord.
On June 2, 2007 Slory made his debut in the dress of the Dutch national team in the game against South Korea . Four days later he made his second appearance against Thailand .
2010 Slory moved to the Bulgarian first division club Levski Sofia . He came on five short assignments. In early 2011 he moved to Adelaide United in Australia. First he came on as a substitute, at the beginning of the 2011/12 season he was part of the tribe. After six matchdays, however, his contract was terminated.
Slory played for a few years in Dutch amateur football before joining the professional squad of FC Dordrecht in the Eredivisie. After five missions, he ended his career in the summer of 2015.
